I think one of the funniest things ever is that Schrodinger’s Cat was a thought experiment to prove that quantum mechanics was ridiculous, not as an example of how it works. But y’know, physics.

While that is true, it is a good way to explain in laymen’s terms how quantum mechanics works, just with the addendum at the end saying, but this doesn’t happen on that scale, it just happens on a quantum scale.
